Thread: Non-Calendar linkshells

    Non-Calendar linkshells

While we always encourage new linkshells to use the Calendar to save each other grief when trying to schedule runs in limited zones, there are occasionally linkshells that, for whatever reason, choose not to participate.

The purpose of this thread is just to catalog new and/or non-participating linkshells that have their runs during times that are normally allocated completely or in part with the Calendar. This way, you will be able to be aware of competing linkshells during your run times, along with the names of their leaders so that you can attempt to resolve any conflicts that may occur. If you have any linkshells to add, please do so below and I will edit them into this post.

Always encourage linkshells to participate in the Calendar so that we can prevent conflicts from occurring in the first place. But foremost, remember to deal with their leadership and their members respectfully--regardless of whether they choose to participate or not--and any sort of problem that comes up should be easily solved.

We just turned away a small group who arrived just as I was trading our Hourglass to enter. I didn't grab the linkshell name so I'm not sure if it was a one-off thing.

Group was: Rry (was using some broken English, may be a possible point of contact), Minicar, Solid, Rupypy, and Chice.

We pointed them to the Calendar, but it's a JP group so I have no idea if they'll even bother looking.

Gaia had scheduled Dynamis-Bastok 29.1.09 (5PM GMT). My co-leader and other member noticed a japanese LS standing there. I had a chat with their leader Hamurou and he told me:WEB NOT BOSS OK? etc. (saying that website ain't bossing me as far as i understood it)
    Leader: Hamurou
    LS name: Dekopon

Japanese shell 'Progress,' run times are roughly 8 PM EST on Fri. I think Tuesday is their other run time.

They'll sit outside the zone with a comment up(with times) offering to /random with you, it seems to always be 'Knowg' who does this.

Just something to note, and it may not apply to us but:

There is a linkshell shouting in Whitegate for members, they advertise their runs are Wednesday and Saturday at 6pm EST. They stole Bastok from Horizon, and when spoken to about the calendar, they replied that they won't be using it. I know shout groups are pretty lawl and we will probably only have to worry about our Wednesday city runs, but just wanted the leaders here to be aware. The name of the shell is Recognition, and the person shouting was Dillbert. (I would've posted this so all the shells could see but I don't have access to do so.)

I spoke with Dillbert and he acknowledged that they were aware of the calendar and are using it.
