    Dynamis-Windurst

    Attention!!! Updated strategies located here.

    This list is incomplete and may be inaccurate. I will update as information is gathered.

    MAP A


    - Normal pulling strategy will be used to pull and kill all mobs moving East until open Auction House area is reached (G-11 and H-11). A 20 minute time extension will be given for killing one of the statues along the way.

    - Moving statues located directly South of the Auction House should be pulled one at a time when they reach their furthest southern point to avoid linking the statues on top of the Auction House. The last moving statue will give a 20 minute time extension.


    MAP B


    - Puller will clear the open area of H-10 and then the statues on the bridge leading East. Everyone else should camp in the middle or west part of H-10 to avoid statues that will be summoned on the bridge. A 10 minute time extension will be gotten here.

    - Puller will pull statue on opposite side of bridge leading East while everyone else waits on bridge or just west of the bridge. This will avoid aggro from summoned statues at I-9.

    - Puller will then clear I-9 and J-9 before main group moves to J-9 to camp.


    MAP C


    - Puller will then pull statues at the beginning of the next open area in front of the house. The statue directly in front of the house will be pulled last because it will summon other statues and create a sizeable link. This statue also gives a 20 minute time extension.

    - Following the path north from the first house, the puller will find the next house. The statue in front of the house will summon the first trigger NM. Puller should pull south to open area in front of first house where everyone else should now be camping. If time is an issue a suicide pull can be done here with the suicide puller moving North while someone else pulls the NM out of the link of mobs and takes it South to the main camp.

    - After NM is killed everyone will move camp to H-10, east of the bridge leading West.


    MAP D




    - Puller will move northwest on the bridge until reaching a statue which will be pulled back to the main camp. This statue will summon manifest icons which use sleepga so it is best to use a poison potion before the pull is made. No one other thatn the puller should be on the bridge when the pull is made.

    - Everyone will now move along the bridge to where the last statue was pulled from. Here will be found three moving statues which can be wiped out with coordinated GA 3 spells from black mages instead of performing a normal pull.

    ***DEATH HOUSE ALERT***
    It is extremely important that no one moves north down the hill leading to E-7 when the group reaches that location. Aggroing the mobs in front of this house will cause a huge link that will wipe out the entire group if aggroed unprepared. It is highly likely that this huge link will wipe out the entire group even if prepared so it is best to just avoid fighting it for the sake of time and the possibility of a full wipe***

    - Puller will then clear out any mobs north up to where the bridge leading to Heaven's Tower is located, while main camp remains at the open area on the bridge to the south.

    - Black mages will cast on the icon below the bridge leading to Heaven's Tower while standing in front of the bridge. The icon below the bridge leading to Heaven's Tower will give a 20 minute time extension and should be pulled first followed by the two icons on the opposite side of the bridge. The icon below the bridge will not link with the mobs in front of the house at E-7.

    ***DEATH HOUSE ALERT***
    Now it is time for everyone to move North passed the house at E-7 (refered to as the DEATH HOUSE by DynamisBums. Everyone will head down the slope hugging the wall to the east and continuing to hug this wall until reaching F-6. No cutting corners and no job abilities should be used while doing this. It is important that everyone knows exactly what to do if they are here for the first time. If alot of new people are coming to the run it may be a good idea to do a practice hug before entering dynamis so that everyone knows what needs to be done.


    MAP E


    - After everyone has successfully avoided aggroing the DEATH HOUSE it is time to move camp to F-5 and pull the statue in front of this house. This statue will summon the next trigger NM and several BLM type mobs. It is very important to use poison potions here to avoid sleepga wiping out the entire group. If time is an issue a suicide pull can be done here with the suicide puller moving North while someone else pulls the NM out of the link of mobs and takes it South to the main camp. If a suicide pull is chosen then the main camp should be set up south of the big open area in front of the house to avoid aggro from mobs returning after suicide puller is dead.

    - All mobs will be killed following the path North until reaching the next house at G-4.


    MAP F


    -Melee alliances will make camp on the bridge at F-4 while sleeping parties and Black Mages camp at the house itself keeping all avatars and mobs slept and nuking icons. The NM and 6 summoned mobs will be SMN types which can wipe out everyone in the range of Astral Flow so it is extremely important to keep the avatars slept at all times. Once again a suicide pull can be done here with the suicider pulling east while the nm is pulled south to the group.

    - There is a time extension statue in front of the entrance to Torimarai Canal that gives 20 minutes. We usually skip this time extension as it can take around 20 minutes to get it, but if it is decided to go for the time it is important to know that the statue will spawn mobs in front of itself and up above itself. The mobs up top will come to the group from the south so sleepers will need to adjust to keep mobs slept on both sides of the group.


    MAP G


    ***DEATH HOUSE ALERT***
    Now its time to head back south the way we came and go past the DEATH HOUSE again hugging the east wall to avoid aggro.

    - The easiest and most efficient way to get the last trigger NM is a suicide pull. Station a Suicider at the beginning of the bridge leading up to Heaven's Tower. When the trigger statue is aggroed at the entrance to heaven's Tower 4 statues will pop on the beginning of that bridge. Those should be aggroed and pulled passed the death house as far north as possible. The suicide puller who aggros the statue that spawns the trigger NM will also run across the bridge and as far north as possible. A designee will be assigned to pull the NM South to the long bridge on the East side of the map where the main group will be waiting.


    MAP H


    - Everyone move camp to the open area at I-9 and wait for the boss to be pulled. The suicide puller will aggro the boss located in front of the auction house and head towards Windurst Woods. Someone else will be designated to pull the boss away from the suicider and head to the main camp. It is possible that the icons on top of the Auction House will link to the boss and summon mobs which will follow the boss to the main camp. If this happens the puller should continue running passed the main camp as far as possible while everyone defeats the boss. When the puller dies and the mobs return they can be slept and defeated as normal when they reach the main camp.
