I think we can all agree that the Elvaan Bard looks like a total retard!! I mean come on I've never even seen elvaan bard. You all know Taru Bard owns. They should have the picture of us there. We at least look good in that AF lol.

Not racist just very perceptive. We aren't blinded by our own ugliness like Elvaan or Hume are. :P
Some tarus are racist ever see those ones in windurst that hate the mithras.
I seen a few Elvaan brds they have good enough chr. Anyway more AF2 would be good. Probably should have more thfs in these runs.

I believe I was told by someone (Elmekia?) long time ago that TH (Treasure Hunter) affects whole alliance automatically. Recently, I was told by Zymurgy that TH only works if the person who has TH is engaged in battle. I was also told, by Zumi, that TH works when the person with TH actually hit the target.
So, my question really is, how does TH work in Dynamis? Does TH automatically propagate across alliance, or it only works inside the alliance the persons with TH are in?
In the case that TH does not propagate across alliances, should we try to organize formation in such a way that there are at least one person with TH inside each alliance, and there are as many alliance cover with TH as possible?

This isssue is something I have been thinking alot about lately. Who knows for sure whether TH is more succesful if THF attacks, is in the alliance or is just standing there in dynamis. So what I have tried to do, is put at least one thief in each alliance. Im gonna make a special request to people about certain mobs we fight.
I was thinking about why we seem to only get the same damn pieces of equipment all the time. Monk is one we all know has dropped numerous times. So if you think about the types of armor that have not dropped for us that often. You will see there seems to be a correlation between the strength of the mob versus how much AF2 it has dropped. Why is this you ask?
Well my theory sort of includes a few things. One thought I had is that it does seem that certain job types do drop their AF2. So Monks drop monk AF2 etc.
My thinking is the reason they drop more is because they are the hardest to kill so that gives our alliance the chance to have almost everyone hitting it. So 99% of the time everyone who is melee in the alliance gets a hit on the mob thus increasing our chance on getting AF2. What I'm saying is maybe the more people we have hitting on the mob will increase our chance of getting a drop. So let's take WHM for example. WHMs are much weaker and do not come along all that often. I think it would only be natural for people who see a WHM maybe do not go all out and get in there and fight them as much as they would say a PLD or MNK. Thus decreasing our chance for a drop.
Anyone agree or disagree with this?

Does your theory imply that in order to get an AF2 of job X, we will need at least one person of job X that hits the target? And in general, does it increase chance of dropping AF2 of job X if a person of job X is hitting a target of job X?
By strength of the mob, do you mean the damage they can deal out (this includes 2hr damage) or the damage they can take (i.e. HP and vitality)?
An alternate theory I have been wondering, is the order of mobs that we take out. As you know, a lot of the mobs in Dynamis are optional, in the sense that you don't even need to touch them to complete the zone. Would some of these optional mobs include some AF2 triggers when they are engaged before the final Boss is killed?
Based on my observation so far, it seems AF2 drop rate doesn't increase a lot after the final Boss is killed. So I am suspecting it is something else.
