Few details that are not commonly known:
After obtaining the Dynamis Sword, take it to the goblin NPC in Castle Zavhl Baileys and he will ask you to bring him an Attestation of Glory. Attestation of Glory can be obtained 1 of 3 ways, all are located in Dynamis-Beaucedine.
1) Rare Drop from Hydra Paladin
2) Rare Drop from Hydra Red Mage
3) [Rumored] 100% Drop from Hydra NM: Quiebitel
The best chance you have is to kill Quiebitel, to do this you must first travel to F-7 (Pso'xja tower). On the way you'll encounter the Hydra mobs, and when you reach the tower, there will be a Trigger NM (Vanguard Eye) you must defeat. Once it is defeated, 1 attestation NM pops in each [Pso'xja] tower.
Mildaunegeux [H-10]: MNK, NIN, SAM
Velosareon [J-8]: THF, DRK, RNG
Goublefaupe [H-8]: WHM, BLM, BRD
Dagourmarche [G-9]: BST, DRG, SMN
Quiebitiel [I-7]: PLD, WAR, RDM
Each NM is all three jobs at once, and they can use any or all 2-hrs.
After you obtain the attestation of glory, go back to the Goblin in Castle Zhavl Baileys and he will ask you to bring him a fee of 61 L. Jadeshells. At the moment I'm at 29/61. Hopefully my LS will be doing alot of Dynamis-Windurst soon! ^^;
After you trade him all 61 L. Jadeshells, he will tell you to come back later. First time I had to wait a day, then last time I had to wait a week for the Dynamis Sword, I can only imagine that I'd have to wait a month for the Upgrade to be ready (although I hope not). At any rate, eventually he will give you the Caliburn.
After you recieve the Caliburn, you're supposed to wear it for awhile, especially in dynamis, and eventually it'll start 'talking' to you. It will supposedly give you instructions on what to do next.
As far as the Holy Fragment goes; fragments are a confirmed 100% drop from Animated weapons in Dynamis-Xarcabard. There is no 'Animated Sword' that I've seen yet, but it may be a drop from the Animated Tabar which is located at the cliff area above the zone to Uleguerand Range. It is rumored that you have to defeat Yin and Yang before the the Animated weapons pop.
I believe that the animated weapons pop after you defeat the last Demon NM. There will be a phrase that pops up on your screen like a Time Extension would. It is: "The prison of souls has set free its captive spirits!" I believe after that phrase, the animated weapons are accessible.
Supposedly, after you obtain the Holy Fragment, your Caliburn will start talking alot telling you what to do next.
It is rumored that you'll take the caliburn and the holy fragment to the gobbie in Castle Baileys and He'll ask for the Fragment, the Sword, and 10,000 currency. Then it is said to go to the pond in Dragon's Arey and trade a Necrospyche (common drop from Vanguard Dragon) for a final cutscene and your Excalibur.
