i found this video in gamefaqs boards , it dosent tell me to much other then you can see how fast he is dying. I thought maybe this would help us build a better startegy.

i notcied maybe he is resistng stun alot maybe we could double up on rdm/drk at the same time so every one can just baslt away on him worry free... just a thought.

That video gives me quite a few insights. I see the damage log was restricted to party or alliance only.

It looks like Dynamis Lord is weak to Thunder, and that Thundaga is extremely effective against it. The opening sequence was where a bunch of BLMs cast Thundaga3 under elemental seal, each landing about 1100 damage. Some white mages cast Banish 3, and I'm guessing all the melees were rangers or people unloading 300% TP weapon skills following that. Subsequent party/alliance damage readouts were mostly half damage, with some highly resisted spells.

The first-person perspective was on an RDM/BLM who tried to chaincast Blizzard 3, but it looks like most if not all of his spells were resisted. Keep in mind an RDM is C+ in elemental magic and E in dark. I did not see a problem with Dynamis Lord resisting stun, though, as the primary effect people want from stun is the monster to stop whatever it was doing. Whether the stun lasts for a substantial amount of time is dependent on the caster's dark magic skill, which usually isn't high enough to make a difference on HNMs anyway.

A lot of discussion on the forums suggests that the group you see in the video was not prepared with enough reraise - by hymnus, gorget, or reraiser. Dynamis Lord walked a few paces away from the castle and then let off tremendous damage at about 1 minute 15 seconds into the video, suggesting that before he did that, either someone in the back gained agro (unlikely), or whoever were tanking got wiped out (more likely).

I watched the videos, this looks like the fastest DL kill ever, they don't use zombie strategy like ours, and use mostly offensive thing and go all out while it's chainstuned, they killed it for (starting where ppl do special attack to him) 1 minute 27 seconds.

Furthermore, it's perspective from rdm/drk, and he use the chainstun, he even has absorb magic, i dont think rdm/blm got that.

He doesn't seem to filter anything (how can he keep lag free while frapsing and no filter? orz that's the real question >_>), so we can see how they do it, let me type it all manually here (some of attacks might be left though, probably too far or something), i'll list it in order, and put damage the best I can see

side attacks (additional effect): 155 HP drained, 144 HP drained, 159 HP drained. Total: 458, round it to 500.

Special attacks: hmmm, it will be too long to put here lol, but they used sidewinder/slug shots, barrage alot, and they always do 1k damage, blm thundaga3 also do 1k damage, that's where the most damage, rng and blm, spirit within is just extra.
