He got 18,300 currency. That 183,000,000 gil worth of currency. Deathknight spent almost 24/7 camping Habetrot over the past year probably to pay for all the currency. That's really quite an acomplishment. I don't think anyone in ffxi has done this ever fully upgraded a weapon.

It looks like Deathknight is still camping Habetrot like a madman. I suppose this is because he ran into quite a bit of debt collecting all that currency. In at least one of those recent pictures, you can see him collecting auction proceeds from a sale of twincoon at his moghouse.

I noticed the 10,000 denomination requested for the last upgrade was of the same type (whiteshells) as the first upgrade for the weapon requires.

The final stage relic has a golden glow to it, kind of like the rune weapons, and exactly as the inventory icon suggests.

It seems that at around the same time Deathknight finished all this upgrading, the street price for ancient currency on Phoenix inflated substantially as well. I have a hard time locating currency costing less than 8k-10k per single denomination.

Relic bow fully upgraded on Seraph. ^^


Here are 3 screenshots from the full upgraded Relic Bow that Muteki got this morning. We've found out a hidden effect on it, that DeathKnight also reported seeing with the fully upgraded Relic Scythe, that there is a probability of the relic weapon of doing 3x damage on a normal attack ( were not sure if its applicable to weaponskills as well since we havent seen it process yet ). So far it seems to process around 5-10% of the time.
