finally some confirmation, thought you guys would like to know.

im taking a guess that all weapons are the 10,000 piece of the currency your first upgrade took, the fragment, and a necrothingy. so this puts the cost of a full upgrade between 80-200 mil roughly. plus a lot of time.

Only with the blessing of Zenith Cow can this be done.... XD

Bring on the pain!!!
So, 10k pieces...I'm assuming they can be traded up to like the other denominations? If not, I might as well stop thinking about obtaining the final upgrade someday hehe.

Those Gungnir photos have been confirmed fake:

Thats just dumb i mean how can anyone even obtain that many currency. Unless the hundred pieces drop a lot in the 4 new dynamis zones I really don't see anyone getting that much.
There may be an alternative to relic weapons. I believe in a future update they will be adding new WS through quests unrelated to getting fully upgraded relic. There were some things the developers said about adding new skills. We seen level 4 chains already in the game if you were unlucky enough to see Tenzen self chain a level 4 skill chain on you.

Yes, the Gungnir is fake. They don't have the holy blessing of Zenith Cow so they fake it. :)
May be reducing the Dynamis re-enter waiting time would help more people to get AF2s and Relic weapons? A 24 hours waiting period like avatar prime battle seem reasonable.

a reducing in the wait time for dynamis events would need to be tied with a reduction in cost, going every night at 20k a pop would be quite a strain on some people (myself included) though the benes would be nice.

I think dynamis cost is already good, they have a reason to make it cost high. this is part of their plan to stop inflation, operation destroy gil!! Ohohohohohoho~!

If they relaxed the restrictions I'd farm up the gil I need to pay to go as much as possible. What's 20-50k per run when you could come away with much needed ancient currency or even better some AF2. The only thing is who besides the super hardcore dynamis lover is gonna wanna go on 4 hour raids every couple days? Might have problems getting enough people to go.

I would go to Beauc and Xar every other day if we could. We havent farmed those as much as city's. 20k Isent much, since if you pick currency you usually walk away with that much anyways.

/em puts together a Fatman care package for his new dynamis life.
contents of box....
20 ' extension for his controller/keyboard.
Long stick. (Many uses for this one. Can turn yourself over, scratch, tilt your monitor, hit your nurse for not bringing you enough food, turn the TV channel, flush the toilet, etc.)
Brochures for one of those orthapedic beds that moves up and down.
Blueprints of what is codenamed the "Fatwagon" a device used to cart Fatman around his hovel. (People this fat don't live in houses its hovel only.)
Coupons for Rice-a-Roni.
and......
1 Box of Twinkies (Just to get the ball rolling.)
If it was once a day i think the price of currency would go down too since there would be a lot more of it in circulation.

The ironic part is this re-entry delay can be adjusted by Square at will (should be easy) and such a small change can dramatically affect the whole economy and game balance.
Oh well, I guess that's part of playing MMORPG. /pray Square-Enix. XD

radav has to basicaly charge 20k or he will end up being screwed.... again. Even if t hey did lower the wait time down to a day most people here couldnt go every day even the most dedicated amongst us , we have multiple linkshells and have other obligations to fill. Besides i think fatman would be one bauld little taru having to deal with us all EVERY night ~_^

...or we see more LS merging and converting to Dynamis LS? lol
...wait, what if Square lower the AF2/currency drop rate? Won't they recycle even more gil (in the expense of player's riots)?

Letting Dynamis events happen more often would not drastically affect the currency price in a free trade environment. There are two opposing factors which determine the general trading price of currency. Firstly there is the time involved to collect this currency. The 20k entry fee is a small portion of the cost; the majority is spent risking your Exp for 3-4 hours, which is a significant amount of time that wouldn't change for a given amount of currency. Secondly, there is the limited demand for currency, considering that relic upgrading is a high-cost, long-term investment.
Reducing the wait time between Dynamis entries, however, would probably alter the balance of Dynamis-related activities relative to everything else. To put it simply, if a considerable number of people would rather get more AF2 or do relics but have been held back by the wait time, they'll have an easier time getting in now. I would not see this as a relative increase in supply over demand for currency, or vice versa, in the absence of some indication that these newcomers would have a particular affinity for or disliking toward relic upgrades.
