Run Announcement
On Wednesday, we will be running Dynamis-Buburimu.
Sign up for the run below. We will be creating preliminary alliances based on those who have taken the time to sign up. If by late Tuesday/ early Wednesday we have more than 50 people signed up, we will add a concurrent Dynamis-Tavnazia farming run. When signing up, make sure to indicate whether you would be willing to attend a Tavnazia run if it was scheduled.
Keep in mind that due to the member limitation placed on the zone (36 people only), not everyone that signs up may be able to enter, and due to the basic needs of the alliances, we may not be able to get everyone in the order they signed up in.
To prevent the run from starting too late, this signup minimum requirement will be strictly adhered to. I do not want the run to start an hour late because we suddenly had the right number of people show up at Mhaura to split the zones and we have to make last minute alliances over again.

Yes, really.
To elaborate a little:
We will be trying Uragnites.
I have a better idea now of what each Uragnite spawns and a general idea of what we can do to prevent massive linking. However, because I'm less clear about *where* the additional Uragnites spawn once the main one is pulled, I'm going to try a pull to see if I can get it cleanly. If it doesn't work out, we will move on and not waste any time. I should be the only one working off Weakness if this occurs.
We will be using placement similar to what we do for dragons--mages on top of the cliff and melee below to limit exposure the poison/plague/gravity effects. Thus, it is imperative that mages do not pull hate, and any that do move down so that they do not screw the other mages waiting safely up top. I will remind you of this (several times) before we actually begin to make sure that it is clear.
We *might* be trying Scorpions this run. We definitely will if I make a bad initial pull and Uragnites are scratched from the list.
Scorpions have a number of very strong AoE poison moves, which you'll be glad you were prepared for, but they aren't otherwise very difficult at all. The only problems are the AoE and its range and the potential to link.
We are doing these (Uragnites and Scorpions) because:
1. It is my impression (as I indicated in the Buburimu strategy page) that there are differing chances of the relic belt/capes from the different nightmare groups. If we see a PLD cape drop from Uragnites and a RDM belt drop from Scorpions, this is pretty good support for that theory.
2. I'm tired of getting Abyss Capes.
3. You guys need to be challenged or else you will become too lazy/complacent. We don't necessary need huge links to make you pay attention and not be bored (and certainly don't need things spamming potent AoE), but the path we've been taking the last few runs is getting stale and we need to mix it up.
4. I'm really tired of getting Abyss Capes.
It's not because I hate you all. Ideally, we should be able to take these on fairly well as long as we don't link the entire group in the zone.
