If I need 3 Lungo-Nago Jadeshells (which are 100 pieces, if I'm thinking of the right item) for my next upgrade, will 300 whiteshells count as the same or do I need to actually track down the jadeshells?

The goblin npc (not sure which one Castle Zvahl Baileys?!?) will give you an L. Jadeshell if you trade him 100 T. Whiteshells.

I'm pretty sure the gob's in Castle Oztroja.
